Susan Graulty
Ms. G has been working with students since 2002 when she started her career as an instructional aide in Fishers, Indiana. Since then, she has worked as a general music teacher, a 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teacher, Social Studies and PE teacher as well as a CTE instructor in the juvenile justice system. She has been the Coordinator of VAPA and Gate services for the last 6 years at PVUSD. Growing up in a family music business, Sue has a deep love of music and its transformational power. She served as a professional flutist in the Illinois Air National Guard where she retired from in 2000.
Over the past two years at New School, we have transformed the curriculum to a Project based learning environment, this year adding a digital music lab. We also added a CTE Entrepreneurship pathway to our site. Our goal is to give our students all the tools they need to be able to think creatively. This will allow them to find their own pathway in whatever passion they choose to pursue.
